Connect Klaviyo to OS DEPT

See your Klaviyo campaigns, flows and email revenue next to your store and website data, and build campaigns that land in Klaviyo as drafts.

Before you start

  • An OS DEPT workspace, such as yourbrand.osdept.com, where you are an owner or admin.
  • A Klaviyo account where you are an Owner, Admin or Manager.

Connect in three steps

  1. Start the connection. In your workspace, open Setup or Connections and click Connect next to Klaviyo. If you start from Klaviyo’s app marketplace instead, go to osdept.com/connect/klaviyo and enter your workspace address.
  2. Approve access. Sign in to Klaviyo if asked, pick the right account, and click Allow. Klaviyo shows exactly what OS DEPT can read and create.
  3. Done. You land back in OS DEPT. The first sync brings in your recent history within a few minutes, then everything stays up to date automatically.

What you get

  • Email campaigns: every sent and scheduled campaign with opens, clicks, conversions and revenue.
  • Email analytics: trends over time, campaigns sent, flows live, and plain-language insights on what is working.
  • Flows: every flow, its steps and how it performs. Turn a flow on or off, or start a simple one in draft.
  • Audience: list and segment growth, and every profile with its email consent. Add a profile, suppress or unsuppress one, or delete one for good.
  • Email builder: design an email in OS DEPT and send it to Klaviyo as a draft campaign, ready to review, schedule and send from Klaviyo.

What OS DEPT can access

OS DEPT reads your account details, campaigns, flows, lists, segments, profiles, metrics, events and templates. It can create campaigns, templates and flows, which always arrive in Klaviyo as drafts. When someone on your team asks it to, it can add and update profiles, subscribe someone who gave consent, add them to a list, suppress or unsuppress them, turn a flow on or off, and send Klaviyo a data privacy request to delete a profile. Each of these takes a person clicking a button and confirming. It never sends an email by itself.

How fresh is the data

OS DEPT syncs with Klaviyo automatically every 5 minutes, and every minute while you have an email page open. You never need to press sync.

Switch or disconnect

  • To use a different Klaviyo account, open Connections and click Switch account.
  • To disconnect, click Disconnect next to Klaviyo in Connections. You can also remove OS DEPT in Klaviyo under Integrations.

Troubleshooting

  • “This app has not been reviewed” warning: this is expected while our Klaviyo app is in review. It is safe to continue.
  • The Connect button is greyed out: only workspace owners and admins can connect tools. Ask your workspace owner, or email us.
  • Klaviyo shows as needing attention: the connection was removed or expired. Click Connect again to reapprove.
