Your Shopify store, in context
OS DEPT signs in to your Shopify store and brings its orders, products, stock and customers into your own database every 15 minutes. Every screen, report and answer then reads the same numbers.
What comes in
- Orders with their lines, edits, refunds, fulfilments and tracking.
- Products and variants, with stock at each Shopify location.
- Customers and their order history, in one profile each.
- Returns, subscription contracts and abandoned checkouts, when the store grants that access.
- Online store sessions: visits, devices, landing pages and the checkout funnel.
What your team does with it
- Work orders, stock and fulfilment day to day
- See every customer with their orders and emails
- Count revenue after refunds, next to costs
- Ask questions of your sales in plain words
How connecting works
- Open Settings, Connections in your platform and enter your store's myshopify.com address.
- Sign in with Shopify and approve read access to orders, products, customers and inventory.
- The first sync reads your history. After that, changes arrive every 15 minutes.
Good to know
- Read access only, except discounts: the Discounts page can create and edit store discounts once you grant that.
- Until OS DEPT is listed on the Shopify App Store, the connection uses an app made for your store. The Connections page walks you through it.
- A broken connection shows on the Connections page the same day, and the last good data keeps serving.
