Stripe payments, in your books
OS DEPT reads your Stripe charges, refunds, payouts, disputes, invoices and subscriptions, next to the orders and clients they belong to. Each paid charge goes into your books as a sale and its Stripe fee as a cost.
What comes in
- Charges and refunds, with Stripe's fee on each.
- Payouts and disputes.
- Invoices and subscriptions, with their status.
- Customers, products and prices.
What your team does with it
- Raise invoices, see what is unpaid and chase it
- See revenue after fees and refunds
- Bill client work and retainers
How connecting works
- Open Settings, Connections in your platform and follow the one-click link to make a Stripe key.
- Paste the key into Connections. The key decides what OS DEPT can read and change.
- The first sync reads your history. After that it runs every hour.
Good to know
- An invoice made in OS DEPT can be drafted in Stripe for you to check and send there. Nothing is sent or charged from OS DEPT.
- Drafting invoices needs a key that can write invoices and customers. A read-only key says so when you try.
